XSitePro Review

What I think....    I'm blown away! I have been using the FrontPage html editor to build websites and there is just no comparison.  I used one of the templates available with the software to create this site.  I made some minor modifications because it was geared toward golf.  The modifications couldn't have been easier to make.  After reading the manual I made this site in under an hour  (not including the time it took to write the content).  In my book that is super!  Imagine how many money making websites you can create when things are this easy.

What I think....  As chef Ramsey of  Hell's Kitchen would say "SPOT ON!"  Whenever you want you can go to the page layout section and tweak your website and every single page of your website is updated.  I can't even begin to imagine how much time that is going to save.

What I think....  This may be one of the greatest features of software.  With the click of a button you get suggestions on how to better optimize your page - which means better rankings and more traffic.  This tool is great for the novice and expert alike.  I often forget one or more of the things I need to do to my pages to get the best possible results but now that problem is a thing of the past.

What I think.... Great tools and again they couldn't be easier to use.  Site maps are created with text which is great food for the search engines.  I haven't gotten to creating a link page yet but as soon as I do I'll let you know you know how it goes.  But I'm sure this function will be up to par with the rest of its features.

What I think.... The tutorial is very complete.   There is a nifty search function so finding what you need is a snap.  There are even quite a few webbuiding tips that newbies should find helpful.

What I think... This works like a charm but if you want to change the keyword list for each page - no problem.

What I think... This feature is priceless.  The software allows you to import a list of keywords and it will create a new page for each keyword - you can create hundreds of pages instantly.  Then all you have to do is fill each page with content.  How easy is adding articles?

This feature cuts out the need to purchase ftp software.  Once you fill in your hosting and domain information you can publish at the click of a button.   I had a little bit of trouble getting the site online because I am not used to using FTP.  But I went to the forum set up just for XSitePro users I got the answer I needed and was online within seconds.

I know what your saying "Come on Val - no program can be that great". 

OK - OK   I'll share some of the things that I think could be better but there is not much.  

One thing is that the software has a feature, like most editors, that allows you to undo your changes by clicking a button.  I have found this to be a little buggy.  Sometimes it will not work properly so I have to undo my changes (if I need to) manually. 

Another function is that you can choose what pages (via links) you want to appear on the navigation bar and/or footers - great so far.  For the site map and privacy statement pages these preferences are made in their own sections outside of the usual page editor.   The site map section lets you choose if you want the site map in the footer on every page or just on the footer of the home page.  This is fantastic because I only want the site map on the home page.  Well the privacy statement does not have this option - if you want it on the footer of the home page it has to be on the footer of every page.  Well I don't want it on every page - hmmm.  

At first the price was a problem for me.   I had already plunked down a couple hundred on Front Page and was nervous about spending $197 on another web site design package.   My websites are making money now but I am not at the stage where I can just throw money around.   But let me tell you that XSitePro is worth every penny and much more.  It is so much more than a web design package - it is a total website management system.  I would be so much further down the "road to riches"  if I had this program a year ago when I started out. 

And honestly that's it!   I warned you that there was not much.  

If you are looking for easy web page software so that you can make your own website and start making money on the web I know you won't be disappointed.  I hope this review helps you make an informed decision about XSitePro.
